- Supporting researchers in finding funding opportunities, preparing applications and submitting proposals for projects funded by EU research framework programs and associated partnerships
- Individual support for researchers in the application process, including budget planning, review of content and formal requirements, with a particular focus on projects coordinated by MLU
- Assumption of EU project management tasks for selected projects
- Likewise, for selected projects, coordinating support during the contract negotiation phase after approval up to submission of the first draft of the grant agreement as well as monitoring reporting to the EU
