• Assumption of tasks in the EU project management for selected projects arizing from the contract negotiation phase after approval and including monitoring of reporting to the EU

Claudia Weinhold-Kiefhaber (EU project manager)

Responsibilities:

• Supporting project managers and the third-party funding administration of Martin Luther University in the preparation, application and implementation of EU research projects
• Advising scientists and faculties on questions of European research funding and research cooperation with SMEs in HORIZON 2020 and HORIZON EUROPE

Björn Michaelis (Contract manager)

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing research-related contracts between Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and private sector companies and other institutions and agreements on research cooperation in publicly funded joint projects (e.g. by the European Union, federal and state ministries) with private sector companies and/or scientific institutions
• Advising university members on research-related application and contract matters.
