Department 6 - Research, Transfer and Third-Party Funding Service

This department of the Central University Administration supports scientists in every career phase in the acquisition and use of third-party funds for research and innovation as well as in research-related transfer projects, including start-ups.

The staff of the division

• 6.1 Research Funding and Cooperation,
• 6.2 Third-Party Funding Management,
• 6.3 Transfer and Start-Up Service

will assist you in all phases of your projects:

• Advice on funding opportunities and applications for individual or collaborative projects from relevant funding bodies such as
  • the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG),
  • the federal government (e.g. FMER, FMEC),
  • the European Union (EU),
  • foundations (e.g. Volkswagen Foundation),
  • the Investment Bank of Saxony-Anhalt or the Ministry of Science, Energy, Climate Protection and the Environment of Saxony-Anhalt,
  • as well as on research contracts
• Processing of contracts that you would like to receive or have drawn up in the course of your application or the course of the project, such as grants, contract agreements, cooperation or consortium agreements, non-disclosure agreements, material transfer or licensing agreements, Scholarship and honorarium contracts
• Intellectual property information and advice as well as processing of invention disclosures, patents and licensing.
• Project implementation support, EU project management and financial processing,
• Start-up services and research transfer activities.
